  Black or White Crappie

  Reproduce very heavily and are O.K. for larger lakes All crappie are wonderful game fish and very tasty. Pure hybrids are available now that do not reproduce. This is the crappie that needs to be put in smaller lakes and ponds. They grow faster and do not reproduce. There is also a hybrid crappie that dose reproduce some and are better to stock in your lake than regular crappie. They grow faster and don't over populate quickly as regular crappie.
